June Update

Talent Foundry Spring Jam

Family Proud is honored to be one of the businesses supported by UCSD’s Talent Foundry; a group that provides personalized and tailored guidance to a diverse group of founders in San Diego County who are committed to driving their business to the next level. Those who drive this program leverage their respective expertise and relationships with both regional and national ecosystems of business incubators, accelerators, workshops, grants and investor communities to meet the specific needs of the businesses they support. In mid-May, Talent Foundry held their first annual Spring Jam where Family Proud team members had the opportunity to mingle with fellow founders, share our business and story, and learn more about the Talent Foundry community all while enjoying great snacks provided by local businesses. The event was a great success and it felt great to be back at an in-person event that supports founders and innovation in San Diego!

Did You Know?

Did you know... the amount of hours dedicated to caregiving increases as we age?

Older caregivers are more likely to take care of their partner or spouse. According to the National Alliance for Caregiving and AARP, the average age of spousal caregiving is 62.3.
